Job Description
We are actively hiring a Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a contractor pickup facility in Fort Worth, TX 76140. This 3-month contract pays $17/hour and offers the potential for long-term employment. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented candidate with strong forklift experience and basic computer skills, who values teamwork, flexibility, and communication in a small but fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate various forklifts including sit-down, stand-up, reach, and cherry picker (electric, propane, and diesel)
- Pull and stock parts using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and computer systems
- Load and unload delivery trucks while ensuring safety and inventory accuracy
- Escort contractors while maintaining security and safety protocols
- Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and well-organized
- Respond to occasional urgent needs outside standard shift hours
- Support a small team in daily warehouse functions with strong communication
- 1 2 years of hands-on forklift experience (multiple lift types)
- Computer-literate with experience using warehouse software and RF scanners
- Strong communication skills and team mindset
- Must have a clean background no history of theft or violence
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials throughout the shift
- Flexibility to be on call and available outside regular hours if needed
- Steel toe footwear required;must follow casual warehouse dress code (jeans/shirt)
