Job Description
We re currently seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to join our team in Kingston, NY 124011. This is a $19/hour opportunity for a 6-month contract with the potential to convert to a full-time permanent position. This is a physical, fast-paced role responsible for handling, moving, and processing storage materials including boxes, bins, and totes some weighing up to 100 lbs. If you're reliable, safety-focused, and ready to take on a hands-on warehouse role, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manually lift, carry, and move storage boxes, bins, and totes weighing 10 100 lbs.
- Load, unload, and shrink wrap pallets using hand carts and pallet jacks.
- Safely navigate uneven surfaces while transporting materials.
- Retrieve and process orders using a proprietary computer system and handheld scanner.
- Perform frequent physical activities: kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing ladders, and walking long distances.
- Track inventory and label materials accurately.
- Load boxes onto pallets and trucks, both manually and with material handling aids.
- Adhere to safety requirements and wear protective footwear.
- Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs. Repeatedly without assistance.
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks and working on your feet throughout the day.
- Proficient in reading and writing English for order processing and label reading.
- Able to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and handheld scanners.
- Must wear ASTM F2413-11 compliant safety-toe footwear with slip-resistant soles ( Better or Best rating).
- Must be able to climb ladders and work on elevated surfaces.
- Strong attendance and time management skills.
- Must be available for full-time work during the scheduled hours (Monday Friday, 8: 30 AM 5: 00 PM).
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience is a plus, but not required.
