Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler in Albuquerque, NM 87107 with $18/hr. Pay for a 3-month contract duration, potential to be permanent. In this role, you will be picking and pulling outside orders on a forklift to get ready to ship out. APPLY NOW!
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 76: 00 AM - 2: 30 PM
Dress code:
- Pants and shirt
- Steel toes - required
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Work independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
- Fill orders and issues materials and supplies per requests.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies.
- Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Required Skills:
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
- Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse in various temperatures.
- Able to accurately use basic math skills.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old
