Summary:
We are looking for a proactive Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Process and apply payments received from clients.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain and update customer files and documentation.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- High School degree
- 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems (Visual, Oracle).
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
