Job Description


We are looking for dedicated a Records Information Specialist in  Indianapolis Indiana 46208 with $20/hr. Pay for a 12-month contract, temp role. In this role, you ll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical property records and legal documentation. You ll act as a vital link between the corporate office and field locations, while also supervising team members and contributing to ongoing process improvements. High school diploma or equivalent required;Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred with at least 4 years of related experience and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, especially excel- APPLY NOW!




Schedule: Monday Friday | 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM

  

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Review, reconcile, and enter detailed property and ownership records.
  • Analyze contracts and legal documents to establish rights and accuracy.
  • Lead quality assurance reviews and ensure accuracy in all record updates.
  • Retrieve and organize physical records from various storage locations.
  • Support and guide team members with day-to-day tasks and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as liaison between corporate and field locations.
  • Assist in creating performance reports and Excel-based analysis.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in process, efficiency, and data quality.
  • Help define and track key performance indicators and training needs.




Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in roles requiring strong attention to detail (e.G., contract auditing, financial records).
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and produce accurate results under pressure.
  • Experience with project management or Lean/6-Sigma is a plus.
  • Background in funeral or cemetery operations is helpful, but not required.
