Cemetery Services Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Cemetery Services Specialist in St. Louis Missouri 63125 with $19.00/hr pay for a 6 month contract, temp to hire role opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cemetery grounds and supporting burial services with professionalism, care, and respect. This role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, operating hand tools and heavy equipment, and collaborating closely with team members to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality service for client families. Must have Valid driver s license who has strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools and equipment; APPLY NOW!
Schedule: Monday Friday: 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM, Weekends as needed and Must be open to flexible scheduling
Dress Code: Company-provided uniform
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to work on time and maintain dependable attendance
- Perform outdoor labor in heat, cold, and other weather conditions
- Operate hand-held tools including shovels, rakes, picks, sledgehammers, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, chain saws, and pumps
- Operate mechanical equipment such as dump trucks, tractors, utility vehicles, dump trailers, jackhammers, tampers, and backhoes
- Accurately use measuring devices (tape measure, yardstick, etc.)
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs
- Follow safety and security procedures at all times
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with team members, contractors, and client families
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
Requirements:
- Valid driver s license (required;no exceptions)
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools and equipment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong awareness of safety and security practices
