Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Credit Support Specialist for a 6-month contract position in Northeast Minneapolis, MN 55413. This role pays $20/hr and has the potential to become permanent. The Credit Support Specialist will provide essential support to the Credit Department by managing customer lien waivers, processing daily and monthly credit card payments, handling deposits, researching account information, and assisting with credit applications and account setups. The position involves responding to customer inquiries via calls and emails, working closely with credit analysts and the credit manager, and performing other related duties to ensure smooth department operations.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM
Work Type: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming customer calls and emails, fulfilling requests as assigned
- Research, prepare, and follow up on lien waivers;file documentation appropriately
- Process daily and monthly credit card payments using Eclipse and Billtrust systems
- Prepare and process daily cashbox deposits for the department
- Review and scan Tax Exemption Certificates;contact customers for updates
- Assist with customer refund requests, vendor form completion, and disputed AR research
- Process and analyze new account applications;recommend actions within process guidelines
- Set up new approved customer, project, and Convenient Ship to accounts
- Make necessary account changes, assignments, and deactivations
- Address inquiries from internal and external customers, resolving account issues and maintaining billing information
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two years of advanced education or a degree in accounting or general business preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of office experience;accounting experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain customer goodwill
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
