PC / Desktop Technician
Job Description
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for the position of Desktop Computer Technician (1st Shift) located in Grand Prairie TX 75050 with $22.16/hour pay for a 12-month contract with the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity. You will work with a variety of technology within a warehouse environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing computers, laptops, and other electronic devices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.
Schedule: 6: 00AM - 2: 30PM, Monday to Friday, 9-hour shifts (includes 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks)
Key Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair high volumes of computer hardware and electronic devices
- Install and remove components such as RAM and other internal parts
- Navigate BIOS systems on laptops and desktop computers
- Maintain accurate inventory and track hardware and components
- Perform inventory control and quality control checks to ensure product standards
- Document repairs, processes, and updates accurately
- Assist with stocking and organizing parts and equipment
- Follow all written and verbal instructions to meet production and quality goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What we're looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic understanding of computer components required
- Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing computers is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of electronic parts and sourcing preferred
- Familiarity with All-in-One computers is a plus
- Ability to lift 30 50 lbs
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
