Essential Job Responsibilities
- Analytics Tools Integration Management (12.5%): Oversee the entire integration lifecycle of prominent analytics tools, including Google Analytics, GA4, Meta, FullStory, Simon Data, Adobe Target, Google Ads, and other data tracking tools. Ensure seamless integration, optimizing the performance and functionality of each analytics tool.
- Google Tag Manager Oversight (12.5%): Manage and maintain all site tracking operations through Google Tag Manager, ensuring efficient and accurate data collection across various digital platforms.
- Data Layer Code Implementation (12.5%): Execute successful implementation of data layer code to enhance the depth and accuracy of data collected from digital channels. Conduct rigorous testing utilizing debugging tools and validation methods to ensure precision in reporting metrics.
- Data Collection Accuracy (12.5%): Establish and execute robust procedures to verify and maintain data collection accuracy within analytics tools. Utilize multiple testing methods, including debuggers, to validate the accuracy of data reporting.
- Analytics Tool Configuration (12.5%): Customize and configure a variety of analytics tools such as GA4 and others to meet specific business requirements. Implement additional customizations to optimize the functionality and relevance of analytics reports.
- Technical Analytics Requirements Development (12.5%): Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical analytics requirements documentation, offering clear guidelines for developers to implement effective tracking solutions. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure accurate and consistent integration of tracking code.
- Business Stakeholder Support (12.5%): Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their unique reporting needs and business objectives. Provide ongoing support and guidance, addressing client queries and ensuring optimal utilization of analytics solutions.
- Continuous Improvement (12.5%): Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and emerging analytics tools. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance overall digital analytics integration effectiveness.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Analytics, Information Technology / Computer Science, Business or equivalent years of experience and training.
- Training Requirements - Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics certified (nice to have)
- 2-4 years of analytics experience or equivalent such as marketing, computer science or IT.
- Demonstrated experience successfully implementing analytics managing all steps of the process from business requirements to configurations and validations.
- Experience with Integration Management: End-to-end management of the integration lifecycle for analytics tools. Seamless integration of analytics solutions across various digital platforms.
- Ability to write technical requirements and understand data analytics architecture.
- Experience working in Agile or Waterfall processes and delivering within a timely manner.
- Experience managing a website s tagging strategy and data collection.
- Experience working with mobile app analytics.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple ongoing projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate to all levels of stakeholders and translate complex concepts in a way all knowledge levels can understand.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem solver with a great ability to trouble shoot, think outside of the box and resolve issues that occur in a timely manner.
- Proficient understanding of data collection methodologies and strategies.
- Google Tag management experience
Technical Skills:
- Analytics Tools: Google Analytics (or equivalent such as Adobe Analytics), GA4 (Google Analytics), Meta, FullStory, Simon Data, Adobe Target, Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Google Tag Manager (or equivalent such as Tealium)
- Additional Tools: OneTrust, UserWay, Jira, Firebase, ObservePoint, Charles Proxy, Google Tag Assistant, Adobe Target
- Documentation: Ability to write technical specifications for analytics integrations that developers can follow providing clear and concise documentation for tracking implementations.
- Testing and Debugging: Utilization of debugging tools for thorough testing such as ObservePoint, Charles Proxy, Google Tag Assistant or equivalent testing tools.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency/familiarity in HTML, JavaScript and other relevant programming languages for technical implementations.
