Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production and testing equipment, Smart instrument Lab, including hydro testing systems, steam testing systems, and assembly machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical components to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, lighting, and other general electrical infrastructure. - Test and calibrate electrical systems to meet safety and operational standards.
- Oversee electrical panels, wiring, and circuit breakers for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in testing and assembly equipment.
- Ensure automation systems are running efficiently to support production processes.
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards while working on electrical systems. - Conduct inspections and ensure all electrical equipment meets regulatory requirements.
- Keep detailed records of electrical maintenance activities, including PM schedules, repair logs, and system updates.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. - Technical training or associate degree in electrical maintenance or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, control panels, wiring, and PLCs.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical equipment, including testing systems and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency with tools and meters for diagnosing electrical issues (e.G., multimeters, ammeters, etc.)
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with high-voltage equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with the maintenance of industrial testing equipment and automation systems.
- Electrical maintenance certification or journeyman electrician license (preferred). - OSHA safety training certification is a plus.
- Able to operate forklift and recommend having rigging certification.
