Business Systems Analyst
Job Description
Rightstone is looking for a Business Systems Analyst in Liberty, MO. The pay rate is $35/hr. for a 12-month contract, with a strong potential to convert to a permanent position.
In this role, you will be the primary link between business strategies and technical implementation. You will formulate recommendations for cost-effective systems, lead high-impact IT projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle, and research cutting-edge technology to optimize equipment capacity and operational results for a global leader in the oil field services industry.
Work Schedule: Monday Friday | 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM CST
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT projects from inception through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to support company strategic goals.
- Partner with various business areas to determine specific technical requirements and document system policies and procedures.
- Research and evaluate technical solutions, recommending the most efficient options based on existing technology and equipment limitations.
- Participate in product development and support for new and existing systems, interfaces, and business processes.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and technical recommendations for executive management and end-users.
- Collaborate with the broader IT team to troubleshoot RDBMS technology and ERP environment issues.
- Champion company procedures and standards while maintaining the utmost confidentiality regarding sensitive company data.
- Traveling to other company locations (up to 10% of the time) to ensure system alignment across different business sites.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a high-level technical project management role.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field;equivalent experience will be considered.
- Working knowledge of RDBMS technology, specifically Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
- Proficiency in ERP environments and the Microsoft ecosystem, including advanced Microsoft Access.
- Proven ability to develop and implement business system policies and procedures from the ground up.
- Advanced analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface with peers, executives, and outside vendors.
- Must be a US Citizen (required for this specific facility location).
