Job Description


We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Denver, Pennsylvania 17517 for an initial 4-month contract duration at $26.10/hr. Pay. This person is responsible for, according to level of experience and necessary licensing, repair and maintain facility and equipment including HVAC, conveyor systems, sanitation equipment, and material handling equipment and battery replacement. Requires at least High school education or equivalent and must have at least 1-2 years experience in similar role.- APPLY NOW! 

 

Schedule:  
  • 2nd Shift: Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat;2: 30pm 11: 00pm
  • 3rd Shift: Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat;10: 30pm-7: 00am




Responsibilities: 
  • Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and safely.
  • Performs periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to schedule.
  • Stays abreast of current technology regarding job duties.
  • Performs inspection of doors and dock plates, and all other building and support areas. Recognize problems and repairs before breakdown occurs.
  • Independently troubleshoots and makes repairs.
  • Maintains accurate repair records through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Follows company policies and procedures. Ensure a safe work environment.
  • Responsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity.




Education and Experience Required: 
  • 1-2 years experience in similar role.
  • Desired skill sets include hydraulic, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance, major overhaul of equipment, fabrication of parts, air conditioning and heating system, and adjustment.
  • Emphasis on warehouse maintenance experience.
  • Will need to bring your own tools. A list of tools will be provided.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, perform repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
  • Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
  • Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and heights.
  • Ability to operate power equipment and hand tools, forklifts and pallet jacks and diagnostic equipment.
  • Work environment may range in temperatures from 90 to 0 F
  • Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.
  • Ability to read and comprehend all labeling on hazardous materials and equipment in the facility.
