Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Field Operations Support Specialist for our office in North Miami, FL 33181. This full-time position offers a $15/hr pay rate and requires availability on rotating weekends. This is a contract role through December 2025, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of our office in the funeral and cemetery services industry. You will be cross-trained in multiple functions and expected to adapt to a dynamic, service-driven environment.



Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and route telephone calls professionally and direct clients to the appropriate counselors
  • Receive visitors and assist in providing needed documentation or support
  • Process cash payments and enter payment records into internal systems
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry
  • Track and distribute inventory supplies for counselors
  • Conduct account research to ensure all documentation is in place for burial services
  • Prepare, edit, and maintain records, reports, and correspondence
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and assist with event logistics
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate equipment servicing
  • Collaborate closely with front desk, admin team, counselors, and managers to ensure workflow efficiency
  • Provide compassionate and respectful service to families and clients
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional administrative certification is a plus)
  • Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or customer-facing role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Must be able to adapt to frequent changes and support a variety of administrative tasks
  • Must be comfortable with the work schedule, including rotating weekends and select holidays
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday: 8: 30 AM 5: 00 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Saturday: 8: 00 AM 4: 00 PM (no lunch)
  • Sunday: 10: 00 AM 3: 00 PM (no lunch)
  • Rotating Weekends: You will not work every weekend;shifts rotate among team members
  • Holiday Work: Open on all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year s Day. All employees are required to work the day before and after these holidays. Mother s Day is a mandatory workday.
