Position Summary

Advanced mechanical and electro-mechanical technical Troubleshooting skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advantage to candidates from commercial/industrial printing industry. Participating in training to gain knowledge and expertise on internal Indigo Digital Presses technology.




Education and Experience:
  • BS College/University degree of Mechanical Engineering OR 3+ years of hands-on experience as a field service electro mechanics technician in a machinery or related manufacturing environment, preferable in a commercial Print industry
  • Should be subject to taking and passing technical assessments
  • Willing to relocate if the business needs are justified
  • Experience with Electrical & Mechanical systems (e.G., AC/DC, fuses, contacts, PLC, Elec boards, relays, etc )
  • Experience with Electrical & Mechanical schematics/blueprints/diagrams
  • Experience with Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting (fuses, wiring, board comm., PLC, relays, gears, bearings, rollers, belts )




Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting be able to perform root causes analysis on but not limited to, operations, machine, or parts failures. Evaluate gauges, dials, end-product, or other indicators and be able to determine proper performance of machinery
  • Monitoring able to self-assess performance, and other individuals, or organizations to make self-improvements and take corrective action
  • Operation Monitoring watching gauges, dials, end-product, or other indicators and be able to determine if a machine is working properly
  • Active Learner/Analytical Thinker Understanding the implications and analyze information to address both current and future problem-solving
  • Critical Thinker using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Integrity being honest and ethical, reliable, and responsible.
  • Adaptability/Flexibility being ready to travel and work overtime as needed
  • Must have a mindset of growth and be proactive
  • Must be proficient in most Microsoft applications. (Word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Travel requirement is up to 40%
  • Must be able to thrive in a rapid changing work environment
  • Handle Customer-relation machinery mechanical/technical/electrical problems promptly and appropriately, provide guidance, escalate issues according to established procedures
  • Provide mechanical and electrical support on-site of full range of internal commercial and industrial large mass volume digital printer products
  • Deliver complex high-tech mechanical services to large enterprise complex or corporate
  • Use proactive monitoring procedures/tools to identify problem prevention opportunities
  • Possible for relocation if needed
  • Strong mechanical technical interpersonal and communication kills and ability to improvise
  • Strong Customer relationship skills & ability to manage complex Customer problems
  • Excellent teamwork with peers and internal personnel
  • Demonstrate consistent and high level performance
