We are seeking a Document Imaging Specialist to join a growing team in Charlotte, NC 28269. This is a full-time role offering $15.75/hour on a 12-month contract with a potential for permanent hire. Ideal for individuals who are highly detail-oriented and reliable, this opportunity provides a structured work environment focused on scanning, indexing, and releasing sensitive documentation. Work Schedule: M-F, 08: 00: AM - 04: 30: PM 5 days a week, including 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
Job Summary
There are four main components to the position. There are opportunities for rotating staff among these components either on different days or during the duration of the shift.
1. Scanning - Prepped cartons are moved (one at a time) to scanner positions. The employee loads sheets into one of various types of scanners for processing and returns sheets to the box in the same order as received. Depending on the source material, sheets may be fed into scanners one at a time or in small batches. This is primarily a seated task but feeding scanners may be while standing,
2. Quality - Confirms accuracy of scanned documents.
3. Release/Index - Documentation of files and release of scanned material to customer.
Experience Required
Note: Repetitious, opening and sorting mail and preparing it for scanning into a high-speed scanner, and alpha and numeric keying proficiency.

Experience Required
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and data entry skills.
- Strong ability to focus on a repetitive task environment and meet high productivity standards.
- Comfortable with constant use of upper extremities (keyboard, mouse, scanner).
- Able to lift and move cartons or document boxes as needed.
- Proficient with basic computer functions and navigating software.
- Flexible to work evening or 3rd shifts depending on project needs.
- Prior experience with scanning equipment or document processing is a plus.
