Responsibilities
- Perform visual and in-process welding inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, repair specifications, and weld procedures.
- Complete cladding and overlay work using TIG & MIG welding methods.
- Set up, prep, and weld components following established weld parameters.
- Grind, smooth, and finish repaired components as needed.
- Strictly adhere to Company Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required;an Advanced degree may substitute for experience.
- 7+ years of professional welding experience.
- Strong experience with foot-control TIG and MIG welding machines.
- Preferred experience using SMAW & GMAW welding processes.
- Experience performing manual TIG welding on precision components.
- Ability to work across shifts as production needs to change.
