Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous Document Prep Specialist in Jessup, MD 20794. This is a 6 month contract, temp only role with a pay rate of $17.70/hr. You ll help ensure that every document is review ready for imaging and archiving, maintaining sequence, quality, and efficiency throughout the process.
Job Description
- Review and prepare documents one carton at a time: remove staples, paper clips, or other fasteners;straighten bent or folded pages, ensuring each document lays flat and is returned to its original order.
- Perform tasks primarily while seated (or sit/stand as needed), using upper extremities frequently and occasionally reaching to handle materials.
- Read and understand detailed instructions;maintain focused attention on the task at hand to ensure consistently accurate document processing.
- Collaborate with the Record Center Coordinator and Imaging Production Specialist to preserve document flow, order, and integrity.
- Maintain a professional appearance and work in a clean, organized manner;attire must be presentable and suitable for the work environment.
Job Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy through repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable using upper extremities continuously and occasionally reaching;ability to sit for long periods, with willingness to alternate between sit and stand as required.
- Protective footwear may be required must meet ASTM F2413 11 standard for safety toe cap footwear and have a slip resistant rating of Better or Best.
- Able to work 5 days per week, 9 hours per day (includes a 30 minute lunch plus two 15 minute rest breaks).
- Shift schedule: 03: 30 PM 12: 00 AM;evening or third shift flexibility may be required depending on assignment.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional behavior in appearance and work habits.
