Job Description
RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join our team. Join our team and contribute to our mission of maintaining and optimizing our equipment to ensure smooth operations. APPLY NOW!
Work Schedule:
- Shift: 6am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
- Potential for overtime and must be flexible to work weekends if/when needed.
- Temp to hire position.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with machine operators and other maintenance employees.
- Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
- Perform periodic tests and checks of all electrical equipment.
- Tear down equipment, rebuild, and replace defective parts and components such as motors, gearboxes, clutches, and bearings as needed.
- Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Work safely, accurately, quickly, and independently to keep the equipment operating.
- Install electrical wiring systems to handle required loads for various machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training with exposure to processing machinery.
- 2+ years of related experience in machinery troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience: 2 years (Required).
- Industrial maintenance experience: 2 years (Required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in a commercial laundry is desirable but not required.
- Must be able to work varied shifts and days.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Must work well under pressure.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
