We are looking for a Manufacturing Equipment Operator in Midland Texas 79706 for a 6-month contract duration with $22.00/hr pay. This person is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and operating various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, marline, plastic extruder, PCP injection. Requires at least High school education or equivalent and minimum of 6 months previous manufacturing experience - APPLY NOW!
Overview:
Under direct supervision, set up, monitor, and operates various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, marline, plastic extruder, PCP injection. May include operation of multiple machines at one time. Could also include repair, patching or splicing cable. May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements. This site manufactures reinforced Polypipe used to run oil underground. This position will be basically running a coiler and changing reels.

- Night 7PM 7AM
- Day 7AM 7PM
- M-F, Saturdays optional (OT required)
Responsibilities:
- Sets up, monitors, and operates various piece of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, marline, plastic extruder, PCP injection
- Reads and interprets routine instructions.
- Performs basic mathematical calculations.
- Good in mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
- Operates material moving equipment/overhead crane and/or obtain certification.
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months previous manufacturing experience
