Job Description


Rightstone is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Framingham, MA. The pay rate is $37.00 $44.00/hr. For an 8-month contract, with a strong temp-to-perm opportunity. 

 

In this role, you will be the technical lead for the "McIntosh" luxury business unit, responsible for developing and optimizing the manufacturing processes for world-class audio products. You will work cross-functionally to bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring that high-fidelity electronic and mechanical assemblies are built with elite precision, repeatability, and efficiency. 




Work Schedule: 40 hrs. / week, Monday to Friday 

 

What You ll Do 
  • Develop and document advanced assembly and test processes for high-end electronic and mechanical audio products. 
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) builds, establishing critical process documentation, work instructions, and BOM validation. 
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering on DFM (Design for Manufacturability) to ensure seamless transitions from prototype to full-scale production. 
  • Specify and design custom jigs, fixtures, and production tooling to enhance assembly ergonomics and consistency. 
  • Manage PC board development activities, including item master generation, PCB drawings, and SMD stencil creation. 
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality or yield discrepancies to maintain luxury-grade standards. 
  • Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and process capability analysis to reduce waste. 
  • Interface directly with suppliers for specialized components, tooling, and technical process support. 

 

What We re Looking For 
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. 
  • 3 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically within electronics or electro-mechanical assembly. 
  • Proven track record of successfully introducing new products (NPI) into a production environment. 
  • Technical proficiency with MCAD/ECAD tools (SolidWorks and Altium are highly preferred). 
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for inventory and routing management. 
  • Expert understanding of lean manufacturing principles and failure analysis techniques. 
  • Hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude with a passion for high-precision, premium assembly. 
  • Ability to work on site at "The Mountain" in Framingham, MA, Monday through Friday.
