Job Description


We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler/ Forklift Operator to join our team in Auburn, WA 98001. This is a 3-month contract position paying $20.00 per hour, with the potential to become temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, bundling, staging, and loading industrial pipe and conduit products, safely operating a sit-down forklift and ride-on pallet jack, processing inventory using handheld RF scanners, and maintaining a clean and organized outdoor pipe yard. The ideal candidate has experience operating sit-down forklifts and ride-on pallet jacks, possesses basic computer skills, is comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment, and is committed to accuracy, safety, and reliable attendance.



Schedule
  • Monday Friday
  • Shift: 1: 30 PM 10: 30 PM



Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, consolidate, bundle, stage, and load industrial pipe and conduit products.
  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift and ride-on pallet jack to transport materials throughout the outdoor storage yard.
  • Process incoming and outgoing inventory using handheld RF scanners and warehouse tracking systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and outdoor storage yard.
  • Follow all safety procedures while ensuring accurate order fulfillment.



Qualifications
  • Experience operating a sit-down forklift and ride-on pallet jack.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn handheld RF scanners.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to 100% order accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as needed.



Physical Requirements
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, pull, and maneuver materials weighing 50+ lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.



Work Environment
  • 90% outdoor pipe yard/storage environment.
  • Fast-paced, physically active workplace.
  • Casual dress code (jeans, T-shirts, hoodies).
  • Safety-toe shoes are required. Safety vest and gloves will be provided.
