Duration: 1 year contract
Job Overview:
- This role is responsible for operating the coating booth applying thermal spray to complex gas turbine components per OEM drawings while maintaining safety as the top priority and performing quality inspections throughout the coating process meeting all engineering requirements to maintain the highest quality standards. Requires at least High School Diploma or equivalent diploma and 8+ years experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operates the coating booth applying thermal spray to complex gas turbine components per OEM drawings while maintaining safety as the top priority (exceptional coating/mechanical background)
- Requires ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other material moving equipment.
- Performs quality inspections throughout the coating process meeting all engineering requirements to maintain the highest quality standard.
Qualifications and skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent diploma
- 8+ years experience
- Must have superior knowledge of coating operations, coating equipment, fixtures, and parameters for the coating process.
- Ability to work with no supervision and instruction.
- Must have the ability to edit and write programs from scratch using FANUC programing.
