Job Description
We are looking for an Oracle Customer Care & Billing Sr. Developer in Paramus New Jersey 07653 for a 3- month contract duration that offers up to $73.75/hr., commensurate with experience. Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to gather and analyze requirements and translates them to technical specifications.
- Writes complex queries, PL/SQL code, and Java code to support the application.
- Integrates CC&B with other applications using Inbound Web Services.
- Establishes best practices in alignment with relevant industry, regulatory, and technical requirements.
- Performs code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality of code delivered and adherence to best practices.
- Follows standards and documents processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
- Provides technical guidance to other developers.
- Proactively monitors services, access, availability, performance, and usage.
- Provides support for production during the day and batch runs at night (on-call).
- Provides support for Enterprise Projects and Deployment.
- Stays up to date with the latest Oracle CC&B releases, features, and best practices.
Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum Bachelor s degree, Master s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) application.
- Strong proficiency in design and development of Oracle CC&B Customizations: Batch, Algorithms, Change Handlers, UI Maps, Scripts, Business Objects, Business Services, and Inbound Web Services.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience in Hibernate Framework, Weblogic Server, and Scripting Languages (Perl/Shell/Ant).
- Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and XML/JSON data formats.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Gitlab
- Knowledge of Enterprise Schedulers: Cisco TIDAL or similar applications
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
