Job Description


 Rightstone is looking for a Document Control Specialist in Houston, TX. The pay rate is $19.00/hr. For a 5-month contract role with a consistent Monday Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM schedule. 

 

In this role, you will be the key person responsible for the integrity and organization of critical customer and internal documentation within a world-class manufacturing facility. You will manage the full lifecycle of records from scanning and indexing to assembling high-accuracy document packets for final delivery. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented administrative professional who prioritizes quality over speed and enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment. 

 

What you will do: 
  • Organize, scan, and index physical and electronic documents in strict accordance with company retention and filing standards. 
  • Perform precise data entry into the Oracle ERP system, ensuring all records are updated and categorized correctly. 
  • Manage and edit PDF files using professional tools such as Kofax or Adobe Acrobat to prepare document packages for customers. 
  • Maintain the SharePoint document management system to ensure internal and external documentation is easily accessible. 
  • Assemble comprehensive document packets for customer delivery, prioritizing 100% accuracy and completeness. 
  • Collaborate with the onsite team to follow document retention policies while maintaining organized physical filing systems. 

 

Qualifications 
  • A highly dependable individual with at least 6 months of relevant experience in document management or administrative support. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to prioritize accuracy and quality over high-speed output. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic PDF editing software; experience with Oracle or ERP systems is a plus. 
  • Ability to learn new proprietary software and complex filing processes quickly with minimal supervision after training. 
  • Physical ability to work in an office located within a manufacturing plant and walk through production areas as needed. 
  • A professional with a High School Diploma who is committed to a 100% onsite role (Steel-toed boots and safety glasses required). 




Important:

This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period.
