Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to work on a hybrid setup in McLean, VA for a 6-month contract. If you have experience in creating and managing project plans, document repositories, risk register, and other PM artifacts APPLY NOW!
Responsibilities:
- Working cross functionally with business, and 3rd party vendor teams while delivering quality results.
- Analysis the business impact of the proposed solutions and plans the detailed tasks required to achieve delivery of the proposed solution, including providing input into resourcing estimates.
- Coordinates internal and 3rd party resources during design, piloting of assessments, reporting and corrective actions.
- Coordinates input into 3rd party SLAs and ensures delivery of 3rd parties to agreed timeframes.
- Develops and supports stakeholder engagement and change communications.
- Utilizes the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for planning resources, project milestones, risks, and financials.
- Engages stakeholders to ensure successful project deployment and benefits achievement.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Process oriented and results driven.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement.
- Knowledge and experience of Change Management Practices.
- High level of Stakeholder Management skills.
- Experience creating and managing project plans, document repositories, risk register, and other PM artifacts.
- Experience working in a global organization.
- This PM needs to be in a US time zone (preferably EDT) and we have a preference for someone able to come to the McLean VA (MVA) office/Washington DC area periodically to work in person (hybrid).
