Quality Project Specialist (Non-Conformance)

We're looking for an experienced Quality Project Specialist (Non-Conformance) to lead the resolution of product and site quality issues from start to finish at the Houston, TX location with $37/hr pay for a 1 year contract with possibility of temp to perm opportunity. What You ll Do
- Manage site non-conformance (NC) cases from initial reporting through final resolution
- Investigate defects, identify root causes, and document findings
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Suppliers, and Field teams to determine the best solution
- Track materials, approvals, and deliveries to ensure timely issue resolution
- Lead efforts to reduce resolution times and improve overall quality performance
- Prepare reports, monitor key performance metrics, and provide project updates
- Participate in weekly quality meetings and help drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all activities comply with company procedures and quality standards
What We re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
- Approximately 6 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Field Service, or Non-Conformance Management (Hiring Manager is flexible for candidates with highly relevant experience)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
- Experience working in quality or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards
- Oil & Gas industry or industrial product experience is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
