Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Develop insurance quotes and writing policies (auto, home, and life)
- Make sales presentations, and close sales.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
- Use a customer focused approach to educate customers about insurance options.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Be capable of handling customer rejection.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
- Be equipped with great listening and closing skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate others, set a good example, and inspire others.
- Ability to identify and solve problems, think critically, and make decisions quickly.
Requirements:
- Life, Property & Casualty insurance license is required (if you do not have currently, must be able to obtain)
- Must have interest and willingness to participate in community activities and networking events.
- Sales experience preferred (outside or inside sales representative, retail sales associate or telemarketing).
