Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Associate in Hialeah Gardens FL 33018 with $18.00/hr pay for a 3-month contract, temp to permanent opportunity. We re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse team in a Shipping/Receiving position. This role plays a vital part in ensuring products are accurately received, processed, and organized to support smooth warehouse operations. Must have 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving and physically fit in regularly lifting APPLY NOW!
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 6: 00 AM 3: 00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
PPE Required: Steel toe shoes
Dress Code: Warehouse attire required
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive inbound shipments and verify against purchase orders
- Inspect product packaging to ensure it's neat and intact
- Build and break down pallets as needed
- Restock inventory in assigned locations with accuracy
- Use RF (radio frequency) scanner to track and manage inventory levels
- Perform basic math (addition/subtraction of units)
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Stand and walk on concrete flooring for the duration of the shift
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
- Can regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Team player with good communication skills
