Job Description


Rightstone is looking for a Supply Chain Operations Coordinator in Thompson's Station, TN. The pay rate is $19.50/hr. for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong potential for renewal based on performance and business needs. 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of supply chain activities to create net value and build a competitive infrastructure. You will synchronize supply with demand while monitoring global performance across distribution, transportation, and inventory planning to ensure products meet quality, cost, and service criteria. 




Work duration: 40 hrs. per week 




Key Responsibilities 
  • Manage and perform work across multiple logistics functions including planning, optimization, and warehouse operations. 
  • Plan and coordinate major physical distribution and materials management activities such as transportation and production planning. 
  • Lead projects or specific project steps to build knowledge of company processes, customers, and business objectives. 
  • Resolve routine and complex supply chain problems by applying existing solutions and developing new perspectives on current processes. 
  • Oversee the distribution process from material suppliers through manufacturing to the final consumer and retailer. 
  • Manage inventory planning and control to ensure the delivery of financial results for all supply-related activities. 
  • Coordinate warehouse shipping, receiving, and materials handling streamline inbound and outbound logistics. 
  • Provide guidance or leadership to other associates and potentially act as a line manager for up to three business operations or technical roles. 
  • Execute strategic supply directions to achieve long-term operating and profit goals for the business unit. 
  • Monitor supply chain performance globally to ensure infrastructure is leveraged efficiently. 

 

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred. 
  • Approximately 3 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution operations. 
  • Moderate to extensive knowledge of supply chain principles, including inventory control and production planning. 
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume logistics planning and optimization in a manufacturing or CPG environment. 
  • Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience in project leadership and the ability to work independently toward business objectives. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing process improvements. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide guidance or leadership to other associates. 
  • Professional certifications (e.G., APICS CSCP or CPIM) are considered a significant advantage.
