In this role, you will be a key part of a major records management project involving the destruction and viewing of over 3, 000 inventory boxes. This is a highly active, physically demanding position that requires a "safety-first" mindset. You will manage the movement, arrangement, and digital tracking of sensitive storage materials using handheld scanners and proprietary inventory systems.

What you will do

  • Process incoming and outgoing orders for files, books, binders, and backup media with 100% accuracy.
  • Navigate the facility safely, including moving heavy boxes up and down inclines, stairs, and over uneven surfaces.
  • Use handheld scanners and proprietary computer systems to track order locations and ensure data integrity.
  • Operate material handling aids such as hand trucks and pallet jacks to move high volumes of inventory.
  • Perform manual palletizing, including loading boxes and shrink-wrapping pallets at ground level.
  • Maintain warehouse organization by climbing and balancing ladders to retrieve or store specialized containers.
  • Execute repetitive physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending frequently throughout the 9-hour shift.

What we are looking for
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs consistently and without assistance.
  • Physical stamina to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English to accurately process labels and documentation.
  • Comfort using handheld technology and basic computer systems for inventory tracking.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Must provide and wear safety-toe protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a "Better or Best" slip-resistant rating.

This is a temporary/contract position. While benefits (Health, 401k, PTO) are not provided during the contract period, they may become available upon successful conversion to a permanent role.
