Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team in Katy, TX 77494. This is a 3-month contract position paying $18/hour, with a potential Temp-to-Perm opportunity for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse experience, with a strong preference for candidates with Reach Truck experience. This role involves receiving, verifying, storing, staging, and shipping products while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Schedule
- Monday Friday | 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Reorganize inventory to improve warehouse efficiency and accessibility.
- Move products between locations to optimize pick paths.
- Update inventory slot locations accurately in the system.
- Verify product labels, slot labels, and signage for accuracy.
- Coordinate with receiving and picking teams to minimize workflow disruptions.
- Help maintain accurate inventory locations throughout the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Order Picker and Reach Truck experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to safely move and organize inventory.
- Ability to accurately update and verify inventory information.
- Ability to work effectively with receiving and picking teams.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Dress Code & PPE
- Pants or shorts must have belt loops.
- Steel-toe safety shoes are required.
