Job Description


We are seeking a Warehouse Picker / Packer to join a growing team in Pasadena Texas 77507 with $19.00/hour pay for a 12-month, temp opportunity. This role is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging products for shipment in a fast paced warehouse environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled correctly, efficiently, and on time. Dress Code
  • Steel-toe boots required
  • Warehouse-appropriate clothing required (jeans or work pants)
  • High-visibility vest and other safety equipment provided as needed
  • No loose-fitting clothing or open-toed shoes




Warehouse Picker
  • Pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanners, pick lists, and warehouse management systems
  • Locate products throughout the warehouse and verify correct item numbers, quantities, and product condition
  • Prepare orders for shipment by labeling, wrapping, palletizing, and staging completed orders
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying and reporting shortages, discrepancies, or damaged products
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts when authorized
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Meet daily productivity and order accuracy standards
  • Assist with replenishment, restocking, and other warehouse duties as assigned

 

Warehouse Packer
  • Pack and prepare customer orders according to company standards and shipping requirements
  • Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and damage prior to packaging
  • Utilize proper packing materials to secure products and prevent transit damage
  • Apply shipping labels and verify documentation is complete and accurate
  • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, scanners, and carts
  • Operate forklift equipment safely;previous forklift experience is required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and general warehouse support duties
  • Meet daily production, quality, and accuracy goalss



Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or distribution experience preferred
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is required for forklift operators
  • Previous forklift operating experience preferred for equipment-related duties
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team




Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced warehouse and distribution setting
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and moving of materials
  • Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift
  • Use of warehouse equipment and safety gear as required
  • Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures depending on facility conditions
