Job Description
We re hiring a Warehouse Utility Worker in Fort Myers, FL 33913 for a 2.5-month contract at $19/hr, temp only. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy and efficiency, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. What You ll Be Doing
- Safely transport full pallets throughout the warehouse and onto third-party trailers
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments with precision process returns and receipts within 24 hours
- Maintain an organized dock schedule, ensuring 100% load accuracy and efficient dock door usage
- Identify and resolve issues such as damaged or incorrect goods, and handle order exceptions when needed
- Keep your workspace clean and safe by maintaining sanitation and adhering to 5S standards
- Communicate with internal teams, carriers, and utilities to keep operations smooth and on schedule
- Support inventory and yard management functions with accurate logging and documentation
- Pitch in wherever needed whether helping warehouse associates, palletizers, or fulfilling special projects
- 2 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
- Solid understanding of shipping/receiving processes and pick ticket reading
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communicator and team player who can also work independently
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including possible overtime or weekend shifts
- Ability to work from 1pm-9pm
