Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker to support order fulfillment and loading operations. The ideal candidate must have experience operating an order picker/cherry picker and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include accurately picking and loading orders, operating material-handling equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. This is a 1-month temporary position located in Ridgeway, SC 29130, paying $17.00/hour.

Schedule

Monday Thursday: 7: 00 AM 4: 00 PM | Friday: 7: 00 AM 2: 00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Build orders accurately and efficiently according to invoices.
Pick cases and assist with bottle-line operations.
Load route trucks according to computerized schematics.
Safely operate warehouse equipment, including order picker/cherry picker, forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
Inspect assigned equipment daily and report any issues.
Safely handle shipments and product replenishment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Report unsafe conditions and perform general cleaning and maintenance duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: Experience operating an order picker/cherry picker.
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written English instructions.
Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds for extended periods.
Frequent reaching, including overhead reaching.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent squatting and bending.
